Écoute AI turns your recordings into transcripts. This page explains what it stores, who processes it, and how to delete it.
What we store
Your account: your name and email address, and your Google account ID if you sign in with Google.
Your recordings and the transcripts made from them, including speaker names, your edits, folders and share settings.
Billing records: what you bought and how many hours you used. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
If you connect them: encrypted access tokens for Google Drive and Zoom, which let Écoute save exports to Drive and import your Zoom cloud recordings.
Who processes your data
AssemblyAI converts audio to text and separates speakers.
Cloudflare hosts the app, stores your recordings and transcripts, and writes the AI summary and action items for each call with Cloudflare Workers AI. Cloudflare doesn't use that content to train AI models.
Stripe processes payments.
Google handles Google sign-in and, if you connect it, saving files to your Drive. Écoute asks only for access to files it creates, not your whole Drive.
Zoom, if you connect it, sends your cloud recordings and the names of meeting participants.
Resend delivers sign-in emails.
Your team's own knowledge base, only if your team owner connects one in Settings, receives a copy of each finished transcript.
Google Fonts serves the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
We don't sell your data, and Écoute doesn't train any AI models on your recordings. AssemblyAI deletes the audio and transcripts it processes for us after 30 days. We've opted out of AssemblyAI's model improvement program, so it doesn't use your audio or transcripts to train its models.
Who can see your transcripts
You, the members of any team workspace you put them in, and anyone you send a share link to while the link is on. You can turn a link off at any time.
Deleting your data
Deleting a transcript removes its audio and text from Écoute. Disconnecting Drive or Zoom, or removing the Écoute app from Zoom, deletes the stored tokens and stops any further imports. To delete your whole account, email support@ecouteai.com.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act. Email support@ecouteai.com from the address on your account and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also export any transcript yourself at any time.
