No. Écoute never sends a bot into your calls. Upload the recording or record it in Écoute yourself, and soon you'll be able to connect Zoom so your cloud recordings arrive already transcribed.
Yes. Click Record and Écoute records your microphone on a laptop or phone, then transcribes when you stop. On a computer in Chrome or Edge, you can also record a call running in another tab, like Google Meet, Zoom or Teams in the browser, and both sides of the conversation are captured. On a phone, keep the page open with the screen on while it records. Let everyone know they're being recorded.
Écoute imports Zoom cloud recordings. You'll need a paid Zoom plan, the Écoute Zoom add-on, and a connected Zoom account. Have a recording saved on your computer? Upload it directly to Écoute.

In our tests so far, a 16 minute call came back in 23 seconds and a 73 minute call in 41 seconds, counted from the start of the upload. Longer recordings take a little longer.
Écoute separates every voice in the recording. Add the names of the people on the call before you upload and it labels each voice with a name. If it gets one wrong, rename that speaker once and every line updates.
Click a speaker's name to rename them everywhere in that recording. To move one line to someone else, click the name on that line.
Every call gets an AI summary, key points, and action items with who owns them and when they're due. You can search across all your calls and export to Word, PDF, TXT, SRT or VTT, or save straight to Google Drive.
Only you, the people in a team you put them in, and anyone you send a share link to while the link is on. We don't sell your data.
